Colony was founded in 1976 as an interior design company. From 1980 onward, it has been dedicated to creating and developing home fabric designs. Known for their refinement and elegance, these designs take inspiration from French, Venetian, Piedmontese, and Oriental interior styles.
COLONY, now featured in some of the world’s most beautiful homes, specializes in lampas, velvets, brocades, and silk fabrics.
The company draws from its historical design archives, reinterpreting them to suit contemporary tastes.
Colony’s products are distributed globally from its showroom at Piazza del Popolo, located in the heart of Rome. The Paris showroom opened in 1994, followed by the London showroom in Chelsea Harbour in 1996.
